Beethoven Violin Romance Compositional Walkthrough. In performing this, I tried to blend - as much as I could - the romantic style of Heifetz and the early 20th century performers, with the actual Beethoven Urtext (an exact copy of the original score). I used many of Beethoven's actual bowings performing this piece to try to recreate his intentions in the line of phrases.

Hear Hear. Atleast should people be aware of the music's existence. After all, music we listent to depends on the time and mood. I sure as hell would not be alive, if I wasn't aware of the world of classical music. I migh aswell have killed myself. True feelings canot not be described through words.

Could be right...if he wrote it at that time in his life...it really "sings" in the upper registers in spots - which would be the range most sorely missed as it faded away - and other phrasing seems to "punctuate" a "finality" or "that's just the way it is folks", as he realized he couldn't stop his hearing loss. Almost has an Italian sweeping flavor of romance to it...sad... then the c-point alternations - orchestra / violin - good measuring sticks for a man going dead
